On Thursday, October 20th, Omoyele Sowore, Mr. Macaroni, and singer Folarin Falana aka Falz attended the #EndSARSmemorial procession at Lekki Tollgate.
Feyikemi Abudu and other youths were among those who attended the Thursday procession to commemorate the second anniversary of the Lekki shooting.
However, some of the youths passing through the Toll Gate were teargassed by police.
Desmond Jacob, a man, was also apprehended by Nigeria Police Force personnel.
He claimed to have been among the peaceful protesters who gathered at the Lekki Tollgate on October 20, 2020, the day of the shooting that resulted in the deaths of peaceful protesters.
Jacob could be seen crying in front of the toll gate before being picked up by police officers.
He was released after interrogation and told to leave the toll gate.
