Members of the Lagos State Parks Administration, LSPA, have commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for appointing the Oniba Ekun of Iba Kingdom, Oba Sulaimon Adesina, as the parks administration’s caretaker committee chairman.
They were also pleased with the Oba Adesina government, claiming it had improved members’ welfare and given sanity to their operations.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting in Lagos’ Akesan area, they stated that peace and harmony had been restored to the union following the collapse of the government of Alhaji Musa Muhamed.
In his speech, Zonal Chairman Surulere, Enilari Rauf, and Zonal Chairman Badagry Zone 2, Adeyemi Arigbagunwo, claimed that the previous government outstayed in office, denying members access to appropriate welfare and shortchanging members in revenue distribution for the development of the association.
In his remarks, Oba Adesina urged LSPA members to return to their duty postings and be decent and law-abiding citizens, and he charged the union to embrace peace and avoid activities that would jeopardise the welfare of the populace.
