KOGI TRADEGY: Nine Family Members Die Mysteriously. .

The mysterious death of nine members of the same family in Nagazi town, Adavi Local Government Area, Kogi State, has thrown the community into fear and confusion.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday evening, October 3rd, with five family members dying in quick succession at a location. Four others became very ill and were rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, they died shortly after being admitted to the hospital.

According to an unnamed family member, the father of the deceased victims has been arrested, while the mother is still being treated at an undisclosed hospital.

He stated that the exact cause of the deaths is unknown. However, the residents of the community suspect food poisoning or a “spiritual attack.”

Reports has confirm residents were in mourning, fear, and confusion after learning about the incident on Monday evening.

At the weekend, four family members died after eating ‘Amala’ in Mopa town, the headquarters of MopaAmuro LGA in Kogi.

Pa Motilewa, the family’s head, his two daughters, and a girl relation were among the deceased, but the mother was miraculously saved.

When the current news broke, the community and government were still in the dark about the Mopa fatality.

Governor Yahaya Bello, represented by Kingsley Fanwo, promised to investigate the matter during a condolence visit to Mopa town.

Attempts to speak with the Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, William Ovye Aya, about the latest incident that claimed nine lives were futile as of the time of filing this report.
