The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have accused the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mallam Abubakar Malami, of advancing an ethnic agenda in relation to the case of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The pro-Biafran organisation called Malami’s words about Kanu’s court ruling “disgraceful and reckless.”
Emma Powerful, the group’s Media and Publicity Secretary, stated in a statement on Saturday that Malami moved the appeal court justices who had previously decided on the case and replaced them with fresh ones in order to influence the legal process.
