Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike committed on Thursday to give “logistics assistance” for the campaigns of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Wike also stated that Obi, a former Anambra State governor, had all of the qualities required to lead Nigeria.
The Rivers governor informed the LP presidential contender of this in Port Harcourt, the state capital, at the inauguration of the Nkpolu-Oroworokwo Flyover.
Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, were in the state capital to dedicate the current administration’s ninth flyover. They were greeted enthusiastically by a large crowd of supporters.
