Bimbo Ogbonna, the late wife of auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, set fire to her marital home, which ultimately resulted in her death. Her younger brother, Oyindamola Martins, has revealed details of how this happened.

According to Oyindamola, who spoke with OAP, DaddyFreeze, in an Instagram live on Sunday, October 16, the late Bimbo recently decided it was time for her to leave her marriage, but she did not want to leave empty-handed. This decision came after many years of sadness and physical and emotional trauma.

He said Bimbo told him that she had “sacrificed” her life for her husband, IVD and that she made him who he is today and cannot just walk away.

According to an eyewitness, Oyindamola explained that his sister and her husband got into an argument over their house documents. She became enraged and decided to set fire to the house.

Bimbo’s brother believes his sister expected her husband to stop her from burning herself because she had previously stopped him from committing suicide.  While they were quarreling, he pushed her into the fire and did not try to help her.

He also said that their 5 children were in a boarding school while the whole incident was happening and that her husband has not called to ask about his children since the day his wife was taken to a hospital.

Bimbo’s brother went on to say that his late sister suffered 100-degree burns, which take time to develop. This, he claims, demonstrates that his sister’s husband, IVD, did not attempt to help her while she was on fire.
