IPOB: Members Optimistic As Kanu Heads To The Supreme Court

The Indigenous People of Biafra stated on Thursday that it has re-ignited fresh legal fireworks in the Supreme Court in order to overturn the Court of Appeal’s verdict that had stayed the execution of the court’s judgement that had discharged its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the chief lawyer for IPOB and a human rights campaigner, stated these in a statement.

Emma Powerful, IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, stated that the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mallam Abubakar Malami, and the Federal Government are ignorant of the law, therefore the group’s resolve to seek justice in the Supreme Court.
