The United Kingdom has again issued a terror alert advisory and cautioned its citizens against visiting 22 states in Nigeria this period.
Its latest terror alert advisory issued yesterday came barely 14 days after it, along the United States (U.S.) and four others raised the alarm of possible attacks in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
However no tangible reason was given for the latest reviewed travel advice issued, thus watering down the validity of the alert.
The Federal Government, through the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the Defence Headquarters (DHQ), took exception to the initial advisories issued by the European nations.
They said that the security agencies needed not to wait for advisories before they carry out their constitutional roles of defending the country.
