A suicide blast at an education center in Kabul, Afghanistan’s capital city, is said to have killed 19 people, including students.
According to Khalid Zadran, a Taliban-appointed spokesman for the police, dozens of people were also injured in the deadly explosion that occurred at 7.30 a.m. in a Shiite-populated area of Kabul.
According to Khalid, the fatal blast occurred on Friday morning at the Kaaj education center in the Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood.
According to the Daily Mail, students were taking a practice university exam when the suicide bomber struck. Officials confirmed that high school graduates were among those killed.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack right away but according to the report, the number of people injured in the attack is currently at 27, but this figure is expected to rise.
