The Katsina State Police Command has detained an accused member of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), a branch of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB).
David Eric Uchenna, 19, alias Ibrahim Muhammed, was apprehended at Katsina’s Kofar Sauri Quarters after a tip-off from some allies he confided in.
On Tuesday, Katsina police spokesman Gambo Isah paraded the suspect before the state command.
The suspect, a resident of Orji River in Enugu State, claimed to have renounced his membership in the terrorist organisation.
