Suspected herders murdered three people in a community in Benue State’s Guma Local Government Area. The suspected herders were said to have infiltrated the Ngban community in Guma local government on the evening of the 18th of Sunday.
As suspected herders attacked governor Samuel Ortom’s council area, there appears to be no reprieve in sight.
The last three weeks had been a nightmare in some communities within the same local government, with 13 people killed in Tse Numgbera, Umella, Yogbo, and Ukohol.
According to locals, the latest attack occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday, when suspected herders invaded Ngbea, which falls under the Nyiev Council Ward of Guma local government.
