Kebbi Governor Atiku Bagudu has advised internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Mahuta and Isgogo of Fakai and Zuru Local Government Areas to remain in the camps till the security situation improves.
On Friday, Bagudu made the appeal while visiting the IDP camps at Government Day Secondary School, Mahuta, and Model Primary School, Isgogo in Zuru Emirate, in Kebbi state.
He expressed sympathy to the victims of the banditry assault and condoled with the families who had lost loved ones in the disaster.
Bagudu stated that he has already instructed that support and increased security measures be implemented in the impacted districts.
