Ramon Abbas, aka Hushpuppi, the notorious internet fraudster, has once more had his sentencing delayed by the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

The 39-year-old was scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, October 3, after pleading guilty to multimillion-dollar fraud charges.

However, the trial judge, Otis Wright announced that Mr. Abbas will now be sentenced on Monday, November 7, 2022.

According to PREMIUM TIMES, the court announced that: “COUNSEL ARE NOTIFIED, the Sentencing is CONTINUED to November 7, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. as to Defendant Ramon Olorunwa Abbas.”

Judge Wright shifted the sentence hearing from 14 February to 11 July, then to 21 September, and now to 7 November.

Hushpuppi was arrested in Dubai, the United Arab Emirate (UAE), in June 2020, along with 12 others, on suspicion of hacking, impersonation, scamming, banking fraud, and identity theft, and was extradited to the United States for prosecution.
