Arik Air’s management has warned the public to be cautious of dishonest individuals who pose as airline representatives.
The airline claims that the scammers are deceiving innocent customers who are attempting to purchase or modify an airline ticket.
It went on to say that the con artists impersonate airline employees and demand that clients deposit money into a personal account.
This is in accordance with a statement from the airline’s management that our correspondent in Abuja was able to obtain.
“The management of Arik Air had warned the public of fraudsters duping unwary clients seeking to buy or modify the airline’s ticket,” the statement reads;
“Customers are asked to deposit money into a personal account by the scammers, who assume the identity of airline employees”
“Tickets for Arik Air flights can be easily ordered or booked through our website, www.arikair.com, or our mobile app, which is available for download on Google Play or the App Store.
