Mason Greenwood, an English footballer, has been detained for allegedly violating his release conditions by contacting his victim.
Greenwood, who was detained at his house on Saturday by Greater Manchester Police, was also questioned about allegations of making death threats.
According to MARCA, the Greater Manchester Police said;
“Greater Manchester Police are aware of an allegation regarding a 21-year-old man breaching his bail conditions and an arrest has been made on Saturday 15 October 2022, Having said that, enquires are still being carried out”.
The Manchester United forward was detained in January after being accused of rape by a young lady and spent three nights under police supervision before being freed on bail in February.
