The Football Association (FA) has charged Chelsea FC with 74 breaches of its regulations, covering conduct that spanned more than a decade.
In a statement on Wednesday, the FA said the alleged offences involve breaches of its Football Agents Regulations, rules on working with intermediaries, and Third Party Investment in Players Regulations.
The governing body noted that most of the violations took place between the 2010/11 and 2015/16 seasons, though the investigation covers the period from 2009 to 2022.
Chelsea has been given until 19 September 2025 to formally respond to the charges.
