The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is questioning former Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, over finances linked to the Turn Around Maintenance of refineries during his tenure.
Kyari appeared at the EFCC headquarters on Wednesday following allegations of financial misappropriation tied to the refinery projects. Last month, a Federal High Court ordered a temporary freeze on four of his Jaiz Bank accounts as part of the investigation.
