Bimbo, the wife of popular Lagos businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IVD, is currently in intensive care after being nearly burned to death during a scuffle with her husband. This comes two years after the couple announced their public reconciliation.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 12 at their residence in Megamound estate, Lekki, Lagos. According to a source, the victim confronted her husband about the constant beatings she had received from him, resulting in a fight that was followed by her setting their home in Lagos ablaze.
Remember that Bimbo regained consciousness in May 2019 after being beaten into a coma by her husband during her pregnancy? Then, on October 4, 2020, IVD released a video of him reconciling with his wife, just days after she published an exposé detailing her 19-year experience with domestic violence from him.
