Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Catholic Chaplaincy, has asked his supporters to refrain from protesting as he passes the baton to his successor.

Mbaka made the appeal in a video message broadcast to the church’s official Facebook page on Wednesday, in which he said “goodbye” and promised to be there for them.

NwafoTV reported that the Adoration Ministry, which had been closed for three months, was reopened a few days ago. However, in Fr. Mbaka’s place, another priest from the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi, has been assigned to oversee the Adoration Ministry.

NwafoTV also reported on how AMEN members recently reacted to the church’s decision to send Fr. Mbaka to the monastery.
