Emmanuel Efenure, a former Director of Customer Engagement and Performance at Mastercard who was in charge of leading Customer Compliance and Risk efforts in Sub Saharan Africa, has joined Flutterwave as Head of Risk for Africa.
Efenure will oversee the continued development and execution of Flutterwave’s risk, security, and scheme compliance strategy, according to the company’s management.
Efenure will also serve as the primary point of contact for all risk-related projects, processes, and operations, as well as lead Flutterwave’s risk management efforts in Africa, according to the company.
The Risk Group is a new unit created within the Flutterwave Compliance Team to allow for faster risk development and implementation.
