Enyimba forward and former Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye, has called out Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Enyimba FC, over unpaid match bonuses.
Ideye, in a post on social media platform X, alleged that the Aba-based club still owes him and other players outstanding payments from the 2023/2024 season.
“Because I have money, I shouldn’t ask for what I worked for? Please pay me and the players last season’s match bonuses. @EnyimbaFC, the season ended in May, and till now, nothing. Next season starts next month,” he wrote.
The veteran striker also recently claimed that players were paid just N7,000 daily for meals during the 2024/2025 campaign — a claim that the club has yet to deny publicly.
Enyimba FC, one of the most successful clubs in Nigerian football, has not issued an official response to the accusations as of the time of this report.
