The nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or have officially been revealed, along with the shortlists for the Yashin Trophy (Best Goalkeeper), Kopa Trophy (Best U21 Player), and their women’s counterparts.

These prestigious awards celebrate the finest individual and team performances across global football.

Voted on by an international panel of journalists—one per country from FIFA’s top 100-ranked nations—the Ballon d’Or remains the most coveted individual prize in football. This year’s awards consider performances from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025, with the ceremony set for September 22nd.
