Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, a Nigerian singer, has been accused of ordering her bouncer to assault a University of Benin student (UNIBEN). The alleged assault occurred on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at an event in Asaba, Delta State.
It’s unclear what happened between the singer and the student, but witnesses say police officers saw the alleged assault and did nothing to stop it.
In a video recorded after the attack, the son was seen with blood gushing out of his eye.
