All events slated to launch the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign, by the Presidential campaign Council (PCC), has been postponed indefinitely.

Governor Simon Lalong, Director General, APC campaign council, made the announcement yesterday, stating that the campaign, slated to hold in Abuja and the capital cities of the 36 States of the country was intended to kick off the 2023 Presidential Elections.

He added that;

“We had previously earmarked a peace walk and prayers for Wednesday, September 28, 2022”

“Additionally, we had stated that the Campaign Council members should come to the Campaign Headquarters on that day to pick up their letters, to ensure that everyone is on board before activities officially begin”

“We have decided to adjust the timetable of these activities due to the list’s expansion to include more stakeholders and interests within the APC family. As a result, the events that were previously scheduled for September 28 will no longer take place.”

“As the dominant and most appealing party in Nigeria, we are aware of the sacrifices and understanding made by our throngs of members who are eager to volunteer their time for the great task that lies ahead, demonstrating how deeply devoted party members are to our candidates.”

Governor Lalong assured council members and affiliates saying;

“New event dates and schedule announcements will be made soon.”
