Dayo Israel, the National Youth Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, has asked Nasarawa State youths to make good on the party’s claim that the state is its home by mobilising friends and family, particularly at the grassroots, to deliver the party a sweeping win in 2023.
He made the appeal during a visit to the party’s National Chairman, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, who was a two-term governor of Nasarawa State and the representative of Nasarawa West Senatorial District in the National Assembly before becoming the APC’s elected leader.
Israel informed the National Chairman on his countrywide visit, during which he spoke with young voters in over ten states, including Bauchi, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Anambra, Kaduna, Katsina, and Jigawa.
He also complimented the National Chairman for his support and leadership, without which the youth wing’s activities would not have been feasible.
In response, Adamu praised Israel for his energetic leadership and absolute commitment to the party’s triumph, emphasising that young people had a specific duty in bringing about a wealthy and secure Nigeria via support for the APC, among other thing.
Before travelling to Lafia, Israel met with numerous young grassroots organisations in Keffi and Kokona LGAs. The Jagaban Mandate Group, APC Youth Canvassers for Good Governance, and others were among the grouping.
He encouraged them to take their mobilisation work seriously, saying that their performance will decide the party’s destiny come 2023.
