The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says more than 95 per cent of results from Saturday’s Anambra governorship election have been successfully uploaded on its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
A check by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on the IReV platform showed steady progress in result transmission from polling units across the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to data available on the portal, most polling units have completed the upload process, reflecting improved efficiency in the use of technology compared to previous elections.
INEC had earlier assured Nigerians that all results would remain secured and verifiable throughout the process, reaffirming its commitment to a credible and transparent electoral exercise.
As of the latest update, out of the 5,720 polling units listed on the portal, a total of 5,472 have successfully uploaded their results.
