Amazon.com Inc. has revealed plans for an anticipated sale for its loyalty-club members. Similar to its Prime Day summer marketing campaign, this sale aims to increase holiday sales and attract budget-conscious customers in these trying times.
According to Amazon, the “Prime Early Access Sale” will begin on Tuesday, October 11 at 12 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (07:00 GMT) and last for 48 hours in 15 different countries.
The second Amazon deals event this year was justified, according to vice president Jamil Ghani, by customers’ earlier holiday shopping and the “macroeconomic environment.”
Ghani declined to provide revenue projections for how the occasion would contrast with the July Prime Day or the fall’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Some customers purchase Prime subscriptions and increase their Amazon purchases as a result of these member-only sales.
