Nigerian airline Air Peace has announced the commencement of direct flights from Abuja to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports, starting October 26, 2025—making it the first Nigerian carrier to offer non-stop services from the nation’s capital to the UK’s two major international gateways.
The new routes will be operated with the airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft. To celebrate the launch, Air Peace is offering promotional round-trip fares starting at ₦1 million.
“We are thrilled to launch these direct services from Abuja to Heathrow and Gatwick, which reflects our dedication to expanding international access for our valued customers,” said Air Peace Chairman Allen Onyema.
The service introduces a seamless travel model for domestic and international passengers. Travelers flying from cities such as Enugu, Port Harcourt, Kano, Owerri, and Asaba will be able to connect through Abuja to London on a single ticket—removing the hassle of separate bookings and baggage re-checking.
Air Peace says the new Abuja-London routes will boost business, tourism, and trade, while also strengthening cultural ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
Tickets are now available for purchase via the airline’s official website and accredited travel agencies across the country.
