Two people survive as a waste compactor truck abruptly plummeted into the Lagos lagoon on Monday.
The vehicle was reportedly owned by one of the Private Sector Participant, PSP, operators. The vehicle had a burst tyre, which caused it to go off the bridge and into the Lagos lagoon.
Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, verified the incident and said the two rescued people were transported to hospital for treatment.
