The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) branch in Osun State has set up a campaign council for the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, ahead of the general election.
This inauguration held in the Atiku/Okowa campaign headquarters in Ogooluwa, Osogbo, along the Gbongan/Ibadan Road.
Senator Ademola Adeleke, the state chairman of the campaign council and the governor-elect, said the PDP is the only party capable of rescuing Nigeria from the crisis the governing APC has created.
The 305-man campaign council headed by the Governor-elect is expected to gather votes and support for the party’s candidates from local government to the national level.
