Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, aka Jandor, the Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, slammed the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Special Media Projects, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Sunday, October 30th for saying he was mentally challenged if he thought he could defeat Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the 2023 elections.

In response to Fani-statement, Kayode’s Adedediran said in a tweet that elders earned the honor they were given because of the wisdom with which they lived their lives and conducted their affairs, adding that it was nearly impossible for anyone to take Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode seriously.

“Femi Fani-personal Kayode’s life has more than enough scandal to discredit him,” he said, “but out of respect for many, especially women and his employees, who have been harmed by his actions, we will stick to his political career.”

“For every attack launched by Femi Fani-Kayode on a politician, government official, or political party, there is a corresponding statement in which he contradicts himself by praising the person, official, or political party.”

“Fani Kayode goes back on his words without remorse and betrays his closest associates the moment you are able to sprinkle little corn for the fowl.”

“This has been consistent throughout his entire political career and confirms what we all know: he is a man motivated solely by personal gain and will go anywhere and say anything to get close to power and feed his stomach.”

“It is only a matter of time, his attention would turn positively to Jandor the moment we take over the Lagos House, which we will certainly do by May 29, 2023…just wait and see.”

Adediran claimed that Fani-Kayode returned to his vomit only a year after swearing he would personally work to remove APC from office due to incompetence and complicity in the 2020 #EndSARS protests.

“If anything, this attempt at character assassination comes barely one week after our convoy was attacked by sponsored thugs and 48 hours after fake news was leaked to the press that 5,000 Jandor members had defected to the All Progressives Congress, proving what we already knew: the APC is terrified that its hold on Lagos has weakened and is grasping at whatever straws it can to keep power.”

“We will win the election next year, and I am confident Fani Kayode will come begging for a job as a spokesperson because he can’t survive outside the corridors of government,” Adediran said.

Fani-Kayode had previously stated in a statement that Sanwo-Olu had proven to be a worthy son of the All Progressives Congress’ Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for his achievements in the state.

“If the strange young man with the equally strange name of “Jandor” honestly believes he has a chance in hell of defeating Babajide Sanwo-Olu in next year’s governorship election in Lagos State, then he must be seriously ill and/or mentally challenged,” the statement read in part.
