The ruling All Progressives Congress has scheduled a presidential campaign rally in Jos, the Plateau State capital, for November 15, 2022.

This was included in the party’s presidential schedule, which was released on Wednesday, November 3, 2022.

The news comes just weeks after the Independent National Electoral Commission approved the start of general election campaigns in 2023.

The APC had made several attempts to launch campaigns in the recent past, but each time they were thwarted.

However, according to the Presidential Campaign Council’s timetable and schedule of activities released on Wednesday, the party will begin its presidential campaign in Plateau State, while several town hall meetings with various stakeholders will be held across the country from November 16-30.

The party also planned international engagements from December 4 to 10, 2022.

The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, will host a rally and musical concert on February 8, 2023, while Lagos will host the final rally on February 13.

The Council will also use the period from February 12 to 24 for “election planning” ahead of the 2023 general election, according to the party.
