Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, will meet with business and organized private sector leaders on Tuesday, November 1st to discuss his Action Plan.

Bayo Onanuga, the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Media and Publicity, revealed this in a statement issued on Sunday night.

The news comes just hours after the former Lagos State Governor was endorsed by Afenifere, the factional leader of the Pan-Yoruba socio-political group, and several South West leaders.

The meeting with business leaders and captains of industry, scheduled for 12 p.m. at the Eko Hotel, will provide economic and thought leaders in the private sector with an opportunity to interact with the APC candidate.

On Friday, October 21, the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), unveiled the Tinubu-Shettima policy document, dubbed “Action Plan for a Better Nigeria.”

Since its release, the document has received positive feedback from various sectors of the economy.

According to James Faleke, Secretary of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, the town hall session was held to allow Tinubu to share his vision for a better Nigeria and to allow for a critical examination of the policy options contained in the Action Plan.

“Asiwaju Tinubu has a very rich private sector background and experience,” he said. He believes in private enterprise and its critical role in national development and economic growth. To drive investment and boost national productivity, the private sector requires policymakers to have power, predictability, and consistency.

“Through the dialogue, business leaders will be able to share their insights and concerns with our presidential candidate. The town hall will be an excellent venue for Asiwaju to sell his vision for Nigeria.”
