The Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State has demanded the immediate release of two jailed Independent National Electoral Commission staff members, Chidiebere Eze and Felix Agu.
According to a statement published by PDP spokesperson Collins Opuruozor, Hope Uzodimma’s government is purportedly seeking to intimidate and frighten the electoral umpire in order to submit to the failing All Progressives Congress’ desperate scheme to rig the 2023 elections in the state.
Cajetan Duke, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress in the state, responded by saying that the PDP in the state has ended in petty propaganda and crooked blackmail in order to tarnish Imo state’s performing governor.
