Under the auspices of the Ndigbo Independent Campaign Group, NICGP for APC in Lagos, IGBO leaders in Amuwo Odofin/Oriade Local Government Area have urged Igbo citizens in Lagos to vote for All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates fighting for different posts at the national and state levels.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Lagos this weekend titled “Voters’ Sensitization in Support of All APC Candidates,” they emphasised that they have been accommodated in Lagos and that it would be appropriate to maintain the advantages that they have.
Chief Evarest Ozonweke, President of the People of the South-East Region, POSER, stated that the Igbo and Yoruba had a primal affinity.
Comrade Olanrewaju Sanusi, APC candidate for Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, stated that the APC’s Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will win a landslide victory in Lagos in the 2023 presidential election, noting that Tinubu has not lost in Lagos since 1999.
