The presidential campaigns of the All Progressives Congress will kick off today, Tuesday, in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
On Monday, the state Governor, Simon Lalong, who also serves as the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, toured the Rwang Pam Township Stadium in Jos, where the campaign will kick off today.
During the inspection, the governor stated that the city of Jos and Plateau State were already agog as APC faithful and residents prepared to receive the PCC Chairman and President, Muhammadu Buhari; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; APC governors; the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; the APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
He stated that the Local Organising Committee, chaired by Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Idris Wase and Deputy Governor Prof. Sonni Tyoden, had worked tirelessly to secure the campaign’s success.
