Traditional rulers in Ogun State’s Yewa, Ogun West Senatorial District backed Governor Dapo Abiodun’s second term ambition ahead of the 2023 election on Sunday.
The monarchs made the pronouncement at the conclusion of the Yewa traditional council meeting, which was held in Ilaro, the state’s Yewa-North local government district.
Speaking on behalf of the monarchs, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, the Olu of Ilaro and the paramount ruler of Yewaland, stated that their choice to support Abiodun for a second term was influenced by the massive infrastructure initiatives undertaken by his government.
The monarch urged the whole people of Yewa to rally behind the governor in order to complete all current initiatives in the region.
