The Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Organisation has criticised a Fitch Ratings assessment that predicted victory for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the 2023 presidential election.
On Saturday, the campaign organization’s spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, blasted the claim as “merely contrived, imaginary, and absolutely illusory.”
It said that the study did not represent reality on ground, and that the APC candidate had no chance against the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and his deputy, Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to the campaign team, Atiku has organic following across demographic groups, and Nigerians should reject the Fitch assessment.
