The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has urged presidential candidates from various political parties to declare their assets ahead of the presidential election in 2023.
The organization in a tweet on Wednesday, September 28 called out the presidential candidates of the front runner parties in the 2023.

Meanwhile, African Action Congress presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has publicly declared his assets, making him the only presidential candidate for the 2023 election to do so.
Recall SERAP issued an open letter to presidential candidates from various political parties in June 2022, urging them to promptly disclose information about their assets and liabilities before and after the elections, the group asked them to publicly condemn vote-buying and electoral bribery.
