The Bauchi State Police Command has cautioned politicians and supporters not to deface public buildings with campaign posters.
While speaking with representatives of several political parties, Commissioner of Police Umar Sanda advised against destroying or defacing opponents’ posters.
To avert disputes, he says all political parties must notify the police headquarters of any intended campaigns or demonstrations.
