The Grand Council of Yoruba Youths has claimed that the leader of the pan-Yoruba organisation Afenifere, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, is favoring People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar rather than Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
The youth made the claim in a statement after Adebanjo expressed his continued support for Obi.
The council, on the other hand, said that the Afenifere chairman was manipulating Obi in order to favor Atiku. It stated Adebanjo was a factional leader who should be dismissed.
