The inaugural Polish–Nigerian Economic Forum is scheduled to hold on September 11, 2025, at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, aimed at boosting trade and investment between the two countries.
According to a statement on Wednesday, the event is organised by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Abuja. It will bring together government officials, business leaders, and experts from both nations to explore new areas of cooperation.
More than 15 Polish companies are expected to showcase innovations in IT and cybersecurity, infrastructure, energy management, housing, downstream oil and gas, compressed natural gas (CNG) and autogas, as well as medical equipment.
The forum, described as the largest Polish–Nigerian B2B event of 2025, will feature high-level discussions on Poland’s economic growth model, bilateral trade opportunities, and sustainable finance.
Key institutions such as KUKE (Polish Export Credit Agency) and BGK (Polish Development Bank) will also participate, underscoring the importance of export credit and development financing in driving cooperation.
Head of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Nigeria, Justyna Sitarska, said the forum would strengthen economic ties and provide a platform for direct engagement between Polish and Nigerian businesses.
