Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening along the Daura–Katsina Road while on official duty.
The incident was confirmed in a statement issued late Sunday by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
Governor Radda, who remained in high spirits following the incident, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection and thanked the people of Katsina and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
