The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has stated that it will pursue anybody who buys votes from the people in order to jeopardize the 2023 general election.

This was said by EFCC Chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa after defending the agency’s 2023 budget before the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption and Financial Crimes.

The commission’s chairman stated that it will work with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to guarantee that Nigerians, particularly politicians, follow the Electoral Act.
