Moroccan-American rapper French Montana is officially engaged to Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of the ruler of Dubai.
The proposal took place during Paris Fashion Week in June 2025, shortly after Montana appeared on the runway for luxury brand 3.PARADIS. The engagement, confirmed with the blessing of Dubai’s royal family, follows months of speculation fueled by the couple’s appearances at high-profile events in Paris, Dubai, and Morocco.
Princess Mahra, who divorced Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed in 2024, has gained attention for her independent public image, including the launch of her fragrance line, Mahra M1. French Montana, born Karim Kharbouch, is best known for his hit track Unforgettable and his philanthropic work across Africa.
The engagement brings together two influential figures, with Montana’s wealth estimated between $25 million and $50 million and Sheikha Mahra’s fortune valued at up to $1.5 billion.
