At least four people were killed and five others injured in a shooting attack at Ramot Junction, on the northwestern edge of Jerusalem, paramedics from the Magen David Adom ambulance service confirmed on Sunday.

The victims included a man in his 50s and three men in their 30s. Several others were hurt by shattered glass as panic spread during the incident.

Israeli police said two assailants, described as terrorists, opened fire before being “neutralised” at the scene. According to Channel 12 News, the attackers boarded a bus and began shooting at passengers before a nearby soldier intervened and shot them.
