The wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to work together in building a stronger and greater nation.

In her message on Wednesday to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, the First Lady stressed the need for every citizen to play their part in shaping the country’s future.

“All hands must be on deck to make Nigeria a great nation. Let us all play our part to build a Nigeria we all want to see. Your sacrifice will never be in vain,” she said.

Mrs Tinubu also drew inspiration from the writings of Gebran Khalil Gebran and the 1961 inaugural address of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, urging citizens to embrace selflessness and service.

“Happy 65th Independence Anniversary. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” she added.
