Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has released his final 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali is included in the squad despite picking up an injury during Chippa United’s league game on Monday.

Team captain William Troost-Ekong, star striker Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Alex Iwobi are among the regulars who made the cut. Wilfred Ndidi, Ola Aina, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, and Calvin Bassey also secured places in the team.

The Super Eagles will assemble in Uyo on Monday ahead of their fixtures against Rwanda’s Amavubi and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

Nigeria, three-time African champions, will first host Rwanda in Uyo on Saturday, September 6, before traveling to Bloemfontein to face South Africa three days later.
