Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle and his coaching staff are set to arrive in Kigali today (Sunday) as they begin preparations for the vital 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Rwanda.
The Super Eagles are gearing up for a crucial must-win game against the Amavubi this week.
On Tuesday, the France-born coach narrowed down the initial 39-man squad to 23 players, with the invited athletes expected to start arriving on Sunday evening.
Training will officially commence on Monday, with the majority of the squad expected to join camp, ahead of the match against Rwanda on Friday, March 21, at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali.
The Super Eagles, currently in fifth the place in Group C, have earned only three points from four matches.
To improve their chances of qualifying for the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, securing back-to-back victories is crucial for the three time AFCON Champions.
