Takehiro Tomiyasu is set to part ways with Arsenal after reaching a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
The Japanese defender had one year remaining on his current deal, with an option to extend for an additional year. However, ongoing fitness concerns have impacted his future at the club.
Tomiyasu is currently recovering from a long-term knee injury that required surgery and is not expected to return to action until later this year.
The Japanese managed just six minutes of playing time during the previous season.
The 25-year-old joined Arsenal from Bologna in 2021 and has made 84 appearances for the Gunners across all competitions.
